The stereo Jude is a dual-channel, dual-discrete console microphone preamp that brings the exact circuitry of the original Sound Techniques "A-Range" consoles from Trident Studios to the studio in stereo.

The stereo Jude was developed in direct collaboration between the legendary British console manufacturer Sound Techniques and Warm Audio, based on the design by Geoff Frost, the designer behind the historic consoles that defined the sound of classic recordings by David Bowie, Elton John, Queen, and, not least, Hey Jude and other timeless works by The Beatles and Paul McCartney. The preamp retains the full original signal path per channel, including the dual-discrete 3035 class-A amplifiers and the proprietary 8-lead impedance-matching circuit, for the characteristic depth, punch, and musicality of London's most influential studios, now also available for stereo sources such as drum overheads and guitar pairs.

Sound Techniques specified every detail of the design: Wima and Nichicon audio-grade capacitors, carbon resistors, and custom CineMag USA transformers on a carefully hand-wired PCB board. The 9-position Z-Match impedance control reconstructs Geoff Frost's original 8-lead impedance-matching circuit, adjustable per channel, allowing gain, response, and character to be finely tuned to virtually any vintage or modern microphone, with nine distinctly different tonal outcomes per microphone.

Like all Warm Audio equipment, each stereo Jude Preamp comes with a 5-year warranty and is manually tested and inspected in Austin, Texas.
