The G24 Passive Aggressive Compressor is an entirely new type of stereo compressor. It is
based on an entirely passive signal path consisting of one metal film resistor, one audio
transformer and one photo resistor per channel.
The elaborate sidechain and controls need active electronics and a power supply but all
these analogue engines only interact with your audio by directing a bit of light to an array
of photo resistors dragging that channel towards one or the other phase of the opposite
channel signal.
The G24 consists of two separate stereo-compressor sidechains acting simultaneously on
the signal. Therefore the user is able to grab short transients with fast timing, and the
other to slowly ride gain. On top of this the "Control" potentiometer enables a seamless
ratio between the two compressors. Moreover it's possible to switch between L/R to M/S.
Although the G24 can be thought of as a couple of stereo compressors, it consists of two
M/S compressors that are fully variable all the way from from M-only (Mid component) to
S-only (Side component).
The "Feed" control allows to dial in a setting from feed-forward to feedback including
everything in-between. There are no limits in having just one of them first (or last) - you
can set both of them as you want, e.g. having both first. It leads to a whole new experience
when it comes to compressing audio.

- passive audio path
- entirely stepless potentiometers
- infinite operation settings possible
Details | Operability
- classic compressor parameters: Input-/Output-Gain, Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release & Bypass
- Two L/R, M/S passive compressors in one unit (dual sidechains make it work like two units)
- Infinitely variable feed between both paths (forward/backward)
- "Trim" gain and relay bypass to ensure precise and reliable comparisons
